produce another slam for NYC Poetry Slam scene in collaboration with the
marketing efforts of Denzel Washington & Forest Whitaker's new movie The Great
Debater.
I know this is last minute, but this is a
great cause, supporting the theme: ACTIVISM TODAY . The last slam featured the valiant efforts
of poets like: Ngoma, Oveous Maximus, Eboni, Tahani Salah, Soulful Jones,
Brother Earl, Shanelle Gabriel, Poetry Man, Survivor, Aziza & Jamaal St. John. Oveous Maximus took the DOWNTOWN Slam throne & Jamaal St. John held the UPTOWN
Slam's title. Come see who will take the cash and the bragging rights, this time
around!
